«Caliber» rewards even absent players

Employees of 1C Game Studios announced improvements to the online shooter «Caliber» up to version 1.2.0. The list of changes includes an operative from the German SEK special forces, an 8v8 PvP mode, and PvE missions for those who want to shoot bots or just warm up before PvP. Additionally, the developers have come up with numerous daily rewards for logging into the account, special bonuses for those who abandoned the game for a long time, and compensation for temporary server downtime on the update day — containers, credits, and three days of premium can be claimed until September 21.

With the launch of the «Storm Squad» battle pass, users gain access to an SEK operative with the call sign Faust. A specially released video explains his skills. The shooter also introduces two new modes: «Brawl» with 8v8 PvP battles and the PvE activity «Onslaught: Reinforcement» for a team of six players. More than 60 firearms can now be equipped with suppressors. Daily bonuses can now be tracked in the «Reward Log». But the main reward is prepared for those who have been absent from their account for a long time. Prizes are available for two-month, one-month, and 21-day absences.

Ranked battles now feature up to six operative bans per squad. The most effective team fighter will lose fewer experience points for a match defeat. Bug fixes affected three assault operatives, a number of maps, and nearly all modes. Finally, users are being compensated for the inconvenience during server downtime — the special prize can be claimed until the 21st of this month.
